New Film- A Love Letter For You

Stephen Powers, author of the great street art book “The Art of Getting Over“, ┬ápresents this new documentary film: “A Love Letter For You”. We are quite excited about seeing it. To top it all off, the trailer music is from our favorite band Junip.

This is going to be so amazing, can’t wait to see it. Does anybody know where I can find out release dates? I’m also so glad they used a Junip song in the trailer, too! “Howl” is such a great tune, I hope they play more stuff or Jose Gonzalez’s solo songs in the actual film.

Thanks to technology, the media is ridpaly becoming a saturated resource. The means to obtain the music is, of course, still much cheaper than the means to make music, but that gap is closing quick. People can publish their music for free on youtube and myspace, and set up a home studio for a couple hundred dollars. Yes, it’s becoming harder and harder to be a musician, but you’ve gotta thrive on that competition to survive. The real money’s in life performance. Studio recordings aren’t gonna be worth any money pretty soon. I foresee all recorded music becoming free with artists making their money on tour.Just my two cents.Craig
