It’s Official: Gucci Mane Released

Guys, it’s finally here. The day all of us (or, I guess just a few of us..) have been counting down to for the past six months.

Such a happy day for all Atliens.

Radric Davis aka. Gucci Mane, released one of the best albums of 2009 almost immediately before heading to jail. The State vs. Radric Davis produced some of the hottest jams of year like ‘The Spotlight’, ‘Wasted’, and ‘The Movie’ and included guest spots from some extremely well known names like Lil Wayne, Shawty Lo, Usher, and Souja Boy Tell ‘Em.

“My incarceration came at a pivotal point in my career, just as my first major-label album was dropping. I was forced to miss what should have been one of the proudest moments of my life,” he explained at his press conference Wednesday morning.

But he isn’t wasting anytime living in the past. He has already announced plans for a new album titled The Appeal, plus new albums from fellow Brick Squad-ers Waka Flocka Flame and OJ Da Juiceman. In the his press conference yesterday he challenged all rappers to bring their best and hottest work this summer, because he’s coming back big, and will continue to strive to reach his 5-year-strong goal of being the biggest rapper in the game.

The summer is gonna be hot ya’ll.
